The two basic and popular type of Keywords which are being used in On-page SEO.

*Short-tail keywords- Short-tail Keywords are those which are just one or two words long like: "Digital Marketing". Short Tail Keywords are highly competitive in SEO and  it can be really tough to rank on a short-tail keyword on google SERP.

*Long-tail keywords- Long-tail keywords are those which are as long as a sentence like: "What is Digital Marketing", these keywords are more likely to be less competetive than short-tail keywords.

both keyword planners are free to use and you can easily do research on your selected keywords and use them in your Posts, but make sure you use your Keywords effectively in your Posts and with in the first 100 words of your Posts.


                                               #2. Write keywords enriched Title

As i said that keywords play a very important role in ranking and generating traffic to your site and should be used in beginning of the Post with in the first 100 words of your posts that is why it is always recommended to use your keywords in the title and try to make your Title Keyword enriched.

Example: "Get more Traffic to your website".

                                               #3. Write attractive descriptions

Descriptions help in getting more clicks but only if your descriptions will be attractive in reading for your readers. Description plays a vital role in engaging the customers with your website and create the urgency to click the link of the website. So always try to write some catchy descriptions and last but not the least: "Do use keywords in descriptions as well."

You should always focus on writing the quality content. The time has gone when people used to write long posts and google used to rank the longest one's. Now the time has change so does the Google Algorithms, now google more focuses on the Quality of the content not the Quantity of the content.
